Grade 5 & 6 Teacher Click for full job posting. This is one teaching position that will teach specific classes across grades 5 and 6. For academic year 24-25.

Logic & Rhetoric School Principal (for 24-25 Academic Year) Click for full job posting. – The Principal will set an example in communication, attitude, and behavior, demonstrating the centrality of Jesus Christ in all of life. The Principal will demonstrate the highest level of time management, attention to detail, and thoroughness of preparation. Likewise, the principal  must have a robust understanding and appreciation of classical Christian education and how this philosophy of education filters into the daily lessons and rhythms of school life. The Principal will show humility and grace in all circumstances, a willingness to grow and learn every day, and will be instrumental in the enhancement of the academic program from a 12-K perspective. 

Part-Time Aftercare Coordinator: DVCS is seeking an aftercare coordinator for the 23-24 academic year. The Aftercare Coordinator will  provide structured supervision and create a space where students can have a snack, work on homework, and play games both indoors and out. The ideal candidate loves children, is a teacher at heart, is a good communicator, and pays close attention to detail. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Duties: The duties of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Keep accurate time records for each student in aftercare, to the minute. This is vital to accurate billing for aftercare services;
  • Build rapport and assist students in the DVCS aftercare program with homework as needed;
  • Employee shall afford students time for play and exercise;
  • Reflect and model Christ to all with whom she shall come in contact with;
  • Ensure students are picked up by a parent or legal guardian or their designee;
  • Keep the aftercare room clean and straightened up desks at the end of each day.
  • Other duties as assigned.
